My life by the sea
The sea is a member of my family. I didn't know it till I realised I need to feed my relationship with it, just as any other relationship. Being by the sea brings me a kind of emotion that no one else can make feel. I feel supported, fulfilled and at home. The sea is my nature and everything is at its place when I am close to it. That vivid water full of energy is my past, my present and my future. I was grown in a Mediterranean town, where the sea is the centre of life. Each street I walked through turned around the sea. The beach was my always present companion in my childhood and I integrated it in my day-to-day life as any relative with whom you share your home. Then I left it and went to live in a village where I can’t reach it by foot. That’s the place where I discovered the importance it has in my life. I can’t forget it and live as it didn’t exist.
