My life by the sea

The sea is a member of my family. I didn't know it till I realised I need to feed my relationship with it, just as any other relationship. Being by the sea brings me a kind of emotion that no one else can make feel. I feel supported, fulfilled and at home. The sea is my nature and everything is at its place when I am close to it. That vivid water full of energy is my past, my present and my future.

I was grown in a Mediterranean town, where the sea is the centre of life. Each street I walked through turned around the sea. The beach was my always present companion in my childhood and I integrated it in my day-to-day life as any relative with whom you share your home.

Then I left it and went to live in a village where I can’t reach it by foot. That’s the place where I discovered the importance it has in my life. I can’t forget it and live as it didn’t exist. It just makes me long for it, as somebody would miss a beloved relative who is some kilometres away. People love their pets and can’t live without them; I have a special relationship with the sea and I need our partnership. Because magic happens when it is present in my life. I feel at my best when I can breathe its smell, hear the waves and get wet with its splashes.

Everything is fine by the sea. The highest luxury is a walk in the beach, where freedom is touchable and there is place to imagine without boundaries. There are no limits there and my mind finds space to unfold itself loosely. There, I remember my greatness and memories come to me about innocence, unlimited power and immensity. When I get tunned in to it, I wear my magnificence pose, that which is connected with the infinity of the world.
